Registration

From 1 January 2026, EASTAP has moved to a new membership system, where membership is for the calender year. All previous memberships have terminated by 31 December 2025.

The new membership categories and fees are:

  • Benefactor membership (EASTAP Patrons) €100 / €150 or more
  • Regular Membership: €80 (Band A); €40 (Band B)
  • Concessionary membership for those who are self-employed, in non-affiliated (hourly paid) and part-time/fractional employment as well as retired and unwaged: €50 (Band A); €25 (Band B)
  • Early Career Membership for students and PhD researchers registered at on an accredited degree programme, and post-doc researchers with temporary employment: €40 (Band A); €20 (Band B).
  • Institutional Membership: 200 € (all bands).
  • Members can opt for higher or patron membership bands or categories, irrespective of their status and residency, in order to support the organisation.
  • Band A fees are applicable for the following countries: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and USA.
  • Band B fees are applicable for Albania, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine and all countries not listed under Band A.
  • Institutional Memberships include the annual EASTAP subscription for up to 5 early career members as nominated by the institution. Note that for these members the payment of the separate conference fee still applies.

At the moment, registration for the 2026 membership has not yet opened. It will start on a new membership platform in late Spring 2026, and in time for the 2026 EASTAP Conference in Groningen in September.
